Tivo to go.. where is it going?

I love my Tivo.. My DVR from the cable company is terrible and poorly organized. When I managed to get back to Tivo I was so happy. It was worth the hassle with the cable company to get the cable cards working.  So now I figured I would pay for the tivo app that lets me put shows on my iPod of PSP. I figured that would be great for trips and for my son to watch around the house.

Well as I expected there were some shows mostly HBO shows that are copy protected so I can not even watch them on my PC. This is not a shock and I did expect that. All of the major networks are not protected and most of the shows I record on other channels were not either.

This morning when I opened it up to put some shows on my PSP I discovered that many more shows were protected. So for now it seems other than the major networks nothing is able to be put on my iPod or PSP. Certainly makes the software less useful. Now I Know this is not Tivo doing this but I figure it would be worth letting anyone who runs into this know that you may want to think twice before throwing down the cash for this application.
