Treo 650 to Verizon
Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 1:35AM Well it looks like Verizon is going to finally get the Treo 650. Sprint seems to have done well for themselves getting the rights to offer this one first. I know of a few who have switched to Sprint to get this device.
The one dissapointing thing about Verizon getting it is that they are not offering it with EV-DO speed. I would have thought that any device that they released now , especially a pda device, would have EV-DO. It also will not support using this device as a modem. This is certainly not surprising but I am sure someone will find a way around this one.
No official date has been announced so could be next week could be next month.
