Smartphone rumors
Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 1:22AM Well I guess there is always something around the corner. The two complaints so far with the Treo 600 are the fact that the screen resolution is only 160x160 and that it lacks bluetooth. Seems like Palm is working on the Treo 610 according to rumors at at this site. Smartphone.net also has a rumored image of the MPX220 and a new HP smartphone based on PocketPC.
I think we are going to see lots more people switching to smartphones and also bluetooth. I know Bluetooth seems to be dying but I see it in more cars now so who knows.. maybe the early adopters were just really really early. I think that the recent laws in both NY and NJ will help bluetooth since you need a handsfree kit to use a cell phone in a car now. Bluetooth seems perfect for this.
Will post some more new items I found over the weekend. Have been fighting off a cold and am finally feeling much better.
